Lisa Lipsett’s courses, writing and images focus on awakening to nature through our own creativity. Her work invites others to bring art-making practices into the wild as a powerful way to know. She teaches the Creative Nature Connection program and the online course Creative by Nature Art Boost to educators, therapists, children and the general public to ignite creativity through natural processes and transform the human-nature relationship through artful sensory engagement.
Her book Beauty Muse: Painting in Communion with Nature invites the reader to begin a creative practice of their own. She also creates and exhibits mixed media paintings and elemental photoart to inspire fresh ways to see. Lisa has a Doctorate in Transformative Learning from OISE/University of Toronto and she resides on Salt Spring Island, BC.
