A psychologist by training, I take individuals and groups of leaders from corporate, social enterprise and non profit sectors outdoors to facilitate deep shifts in awareness and identity. We also use the natural world as inspiration for innovation.
The Big Stretch blends ecopsychology / sustainability approaches of Joanna Macy, Transition Towns, The Natural Step, Natural Change/Ecoself with strategic, coaching and creative approaches from Creative Problem-Solving Institute, Zenergy, and a background in branding.
The Big Stretch takes groups walking in the mountains of Spain for a week of creative coaching, or into the bush on Waiheke Island NZ for individual coaching intensives, or on 5rythms creativity/dance retreats for embodied shifts.
Be the Change Journey takes groups of career-shifters to meet social entrepreneurs in India for 8 days to pinpoint meaningful vocational calls;
Leadership NZ takes leaders from 3 sectors to visit NZ societal issues over the course of a year.
I contribute modules on responsibility in business, values and societal forces as prompts to innovation to leadership development programmes for corporates worldwide.
